"Open Letter to the President Elect of the Good Old USA"

Once in a lifetime a truly unique opportunity presents itself to a fairly ordinary person who has a terrific shot at becoming a truly Great Figure in history'  Now sir, such a time has fallen ri8ght into your lap.  You have never been depicted as a Great Man, but now if you choose to, you can go down in history as a Great Man, a Great Leader, and a Great Healer.  The choice is yours.

You probably will only serve one term as President, so there is no "next election" to be concerned about.  So you don't need to worry about more votes.  You are the number one person in your political party, so you don't have to worry about "party politics". Also, there is no pending legislation with anywhere near the importance of "Healing the Country".

As Abe Lincoln once said, "you can please All of the People Some of the Time". and that's all you need to worry about!  America is most happy when Everyone gets a "nibble" at the pie, but nobody gets a Lion's Share.  That means no favorites when it comes to Democrat vs. Republican, Conservative vs. Liberal, Male vs. Female, Black vs. White, Old vs. Young, etc. (you get the Idea).  All of the People can be pleased some of the time, but none of the people should be pleased All of the Time.  The greatness of America has always been when we all pull together and root for the other guy as well as ourselves.  Someone needs to remind the American People, that we only succeed when everyone has a shot at success, and we don't despise each other, and root for the other guy to fail!

You sir, have the chance, and if you even come close, History will write you in as a Great Man!

"Now that's the way I see it, and you can tell'em I said so!"
