"Fellow Americans in the Good Old USA"

The election results (total votes cast) for President in 2016 were: Clinton = 66 million
                                                                                                        Trump  = 63 million
                                                                                                        Total     = 129 million

The election results (total votes cast) for President in 2020 were:  Biden   = 78 million
                                                                                                         Trump  = 73 million
                                                                                                         Total     = 151 million

In 2016 Clinton and the Democrats could not believe they had lost in the Electoral College, and at least 40 million people were bitter and full of spite for the next four years.
In 2020 Trump and the Republicans could not believe they had lost in the Electoral College, and it looks like 40 million people will be bitter and full of spite for the next four years.

I have a friend who is a 93 year old retired school teacher, and her comment was: "In my time people voted for Democrat or Republican, any way they chose, and after the election everybody accepted the result and we all were still friends!  Now, I just can't believe how much hatred there is in the country!"

In 1858 Abraham Lincoln said in a famous speech, "A house divided cannot stand!".  It took a Civil War to prove the point.  My friends and fellow country-men, please do not let history repeat itself!  This country has stood the test of time for more than 200 years, and this too shall pass. Learn to love your neighbor as a fellow American, even if they are stupid when they vote!

"Now that's the way I see it, and you can tell'em I said so!"
